St. James Area Foundation

The St. James Area Foundation (SJAF) was initially funded with dollars from the Federal Home Loan Bank Capital Community Award and St. James Horizons.

SJAF will work through cooperative efforts with local non-profit and community organizations to receive gifts from individuals, families, businesses, private foundations and other donating authorities.

These gifts are carefully invested with Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation, an organization that believes in helping promote philanthropy through local community foundations.

Income from the endowment fund will be used to make grants to organizations and groups whose requests best fit the mission of the St. James Area Foundation.
